Question transposing data AND adding column heading in additional column

    Hi,

I have what I hope is an easy question. I am using Excel 2010 and basically need to transpose some data, which is fairly easy. What I want to do though is to indicate in a new column the heading that the transposed data came from?

    Here is what I mean:

Here is the data that I have, column heading names are Ref#, column1, column2, column3:

    Ref# column1 column2 column3
    5 005f IRC005 005c

    Here is what I want:

    Ref# column filename
    5 column1 005f
    5 column2 IRC005
    5 column3 005c

column and filename are new column heading names that previously did not exist.

This is kind of like a reverse crosstab from access.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Ray
