    Formula Autofill

    Hi There,

    A really daft question again but I'm trying to save myself an awful lot of time lol, is it possible to enter a formula in a cell and it automatically fills a predefined list of cells. Example is below however in reality it does take up several thousand cells.

    A1 = is where i want to enter formula (B1 + C$1 for example)

    This then fills cells A3 - A99999.

    I know i can do this with fill down however its driving me insane finding the endpoint each time and i have to keep reentering the value for A2. So basically it there a way i can type

    B1 + C$1 into A1 then as soon as i hit enter the cells A3 - A99999 are showing answers to the formula

    A3 = B3 + C$1
    A4 = B4 + C$1
    etc

    Thanks in advance
    James

    Hi James,

    Using Record Macro and doing what you want, I get this

    There are a few cleaner and/or quicker ways but recording a macro and then fixing it a little works too.
