    Values in graph

    Hi guys,

I have a little question and don't know if there's a solution to this.

I have a spreadsheet which has values of week to week performance statistics.

with that I have 2 Linear Charts displaying week to week trend.

But the problem is, in some of the data, emplyee statistics show Absent as the emplyees go on vacation.

So in the linear charts, whenever someones on vacation, the Trendline drops down to zero. Basically I would like the chart to ignore the word "absent" in the columns where it's getting its information from ....Can this be possible on Excel ?

    Re: Values in graph

you will need to replace the word absent, which the chart will treat as zero, with formula =NA(). Then the data point will be omitted and the line will be interpolated between valid points either side of NA.
