    Cumulative % of success

    Hello...i have probably a stupid question, something I did not still figure out though.
    Let's say I have a series of events, 3 in specific case. Each one of them have their specific % of success, how I calculate the cumulative percentage of success?
    Thank you

    Re: Cumulative % of success

    Not sure if I have understood this correctly, but if Cell A is the total, Cell B is the hit rate and Cell C is the percentage of success (see below) then it would be =100/SUM(A1:A3)*SUM(B1:B3),
    or =100/300*(SUM(C1:C3))
    i.e.
    Cell A Cell B Cell C
    10 5 50
    20 7 50
    30 18 50

    Kind regards

    Re: Cumulative % of success

    I think it's just a little simpler:

    =SUM(B1:B3)/SUM(A1:A3)

    ...formatted as percentage.

    Thank you very much for your help
    I believe the formulas being suggested above are attempting to show you how to think about it, adapt them for your ranges.
