    How to count full weeks

    Hello,

I am looking for a formula that would allow me to count the number of full weeks for any given month.

    Thanks for the help!

How do you define a "full week", is that a complete Monday to Sunday...or Monday to Friday....or something else? If it's Monday to Sunday then it would be sufficient to count Sundays after 6th of the month so with 1st of month in A2 this formula will do that

    =4-(DAY(A2+34-WEEKDAY(A2-2))<8)

    format as general
    Audere est facere

Re: How to count full weeks

    Hi,

I have another question: how can I count from the first day of the week from the last day of the week? (from Monday to Sunday)
For example if I have data for each day in a month and I would like to break it down into weekly data, for any given month.

    Thanks!

Could you upload a small sample? Do you want to count from the firs Monday in the month and get a weeks sums from that? If the first monday falls say the 4th of a month, the days of the week prior to that, in this case Friday 1st, should that be excluded or included in the last week from the previous month?

A small sample of what you have and what you'd like as an output would help
