Graphing a data point within a range of numbers

I have a range of values 1 through 100, and my actual result is 77. I am trying to create a graph in excel that shows a line from 1 to 77, and stops at 77. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Basically, I am not creating a dynamic 2-dimensional X and Y axis chart, I am simply creating a 1-dimensional line graph, and need some help. I am hoping there is a simple answer.

    Thank you

See the attached for a simple example. I could show you something specific to your situation if you attach your file.

You could do this with a bar graph, depending on how you want it to look. I have also shown a technique that uses a scatter plot.
