    Excel as a front end

I use Excel on a daily basis to "format" data I get from a Progress DB. I run queries against the Progress DB. The output from the query (.txt file) is then opened in Excel. I highlight the data I want, copy then paste the data into another workbook. Is their a way to use OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) so I can just open the final workbook and refresh the data?

    TIA

    Rich

Have a look at the code at this site
