    Easy Excel Question

I want to create a button that I can press on the first tab. When I click this button I want it to display on another cell a random word from another tab.

For example the first tab will just have the button and a blank area to display the 2 words.

The second tab will have in Column A a list of words, and Column b another list. I want that button to pick a random word from A, and a random word from B...and put it in the blank area on the first tab.

    Is that easy?

    =)

    Re: Easy Excel Question

    Figured it out.
    Create 2 cells that say:
    =INDEX(Names!A2:A11, RANDBETWEEN(1, ROWS(Names!A2:A11)))
    and
    =INDEX(Names!b2:b11, RANDBETWEEN(1, ROWS(Names!b2:b11)))

Create a macro that simply click on the cell and "refreshes" the results. Assign the Macro to a button.
    Boom..Working.
