    file overwrite

Question: I was wondering what we are doing when you update a file with new code, forms, and such and you want to bring in data from the previous version of this file.
I'm thinking this is a daunting task?

You open the old version, make the amendments then save as a different version number
    Hope that helps.

Because I have yet to be faced with the question I asked, (as this this is a looking forword idea) then your saying it as simple as amend??

So, you have a working copy (old) version with your data, formulas and vba code and now you have a (new) version with different stucture possibly you just amend to new??

    Thanks
