add lines in excel 2010

hi all
I have office 2010 and I want to create the following : my sheet has a few hundred lines and i would like to insert or replicate each line a certain number of times. for instance, I want line A 35 times, line B 35 times etc etc. I tried to create a macro but when I activate it, it starts from the same line I created it from; how can I do that?
