Can you format a chart/graph on cells?

I have a large quantity of data to graph, separated by rows and columns. The rows are a particular account, and the columns are months and how that account performed in that month. The problem I have is my chart does not format against each row, so it's kind of a pain to search for the data twice. Is it possible to do complex graphing with conditional formatting, such as data bars with multiple samples on each row?

Currently I'm using a bar graph which has different colors representing different months, combined. Is that possible to do with conditional formatting. Or, is it possible to lock a traditional chart/graph to the cells it is representing?

I appreciate any input, I've struggled with this for years and always wondered if there was a solution.

edit: I attached a small screenshot to better explain what I'm talking about.

As you can see, the chart on the right does not line up with the data on the left.

Still haven't had any luck with this. Anyone care to chime in with a direction to go in?

Almost impossible to offer help based on a picture.

can you post example workbook and explain why simply sizing rows and or chart to get alingment is not an option.
