    Pivot Grand total

Is there any way to change a grand total to a difference if the sum is NOT from two separate columns.

I normally add two columns, and manually split the data out, but I figure there has got to be a better way.

Instead of pivot table see if my solution works for you. You will not need to refresh data in this case as we need to do in pivot table

Do you mean just adding the difference at the bottom? That works fine, however, I need the pivots as the data is usually far more extensive, and I usually have many more fields on the pivot. Thank you though

Sorry for taking some time. I have tried this only with pivot table see if this is ok. If you have multiple values then you try on it or post it on the forum with example data.

    Hi,
What about a calculated component instead of a calculated field ?
    Best regards

That worked! Thank you. I've never noticed it before, but found it easy enough on Excel 2010. Our office just upgraded to that version.

    Is it on 2007?

    Thank you!
