    Using sumif and ISNA

Is there a way to use sumif instead of a vlookup since I need to use two criteria, since I normal use it

    IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(A2,C!$A$2:$I$1125,9,FALSE)),"",VLOOKUP(A2,C!$A$2:$I$1125,9,FALSE))

But I also want to use ISNA in the sumif, since I want to show it as a blank cell

    Re: Using sumif and ISNA

Sumif usually will return 0 if matches are not found, not #N/A! error...

I am not sure I understand your question then.

    Re: Using sumif and ISNA

In 2007 and above, you can use sumifs (not sumif) for multiple criteria. If you want to show blank instead of 0, wrap it with =IF(Sumifs(<formula>),Sumifs(<formula>),""). If you need this backward compatible with 2003 or before, use Sumproduct instead of sumifs.

    Re: Using sumif and ISNA

thanks for your help NBVC and darkyam.

NBVC: 0 can be a valid answer so I don't want it to show up as a 0. I rather show up as a blank if thats possible using sumifs.

    Re: Using sumif and ISNA

    Maybe:

    =IF(COUNTIFS(....)=0,"",SUMIFS(...))

filling out the criteria ranges, criterias, and sum range as appropriate.
