Finding multiple patters

Hello,

Can I find multiple patterns in the same data column? Is there a formula that I can use?
If you can help me, please use the example attached. I'm thinking there are "x" patterns in the column, separated by random data.

Hi,

I would suspect that a 100% scientific solution would require some advanced VBA-programming. However here is a little somthing that might be a help on the way.

What I did was to look for patterns in up to 7-step long sequences.
Then I used Pivot-tables to check for the recurrence of identical sequences.
