Lightbulb Unit conversion spreadsheet - how to build

    Hi all,

I'm in the process of making a unit conversion spreadsheet to calculate specific gravities of different chemicals, but am unsure how to get this to work. Basically, the user selects the chemical they want to convert from a drop-down list, selects the quanity and the units of measurement, and some calculations are made based on this.

To be honest though it isn't working out for me - in particular, the simple VLOOKUP function I've included doesn't seem to be working properly. Could anyone give me some advice on what I'm doing wrong or point me in the right direction of the approach I need to take to make this? I'm relatively new to Excel so I'm still learning this stuff.

I've attached a copy of what I've been building to this message

    Thanks!

    Hi,

We can of course give you advice but only if you let us have sight of the workbook, and its data expected results and the formulae that links them.

Please upload and maybe we can move forward.

    Hi Richard,

    Thanks for your reponse!

I thought I attached the worksheet to the post, I can see it as a hyperlink at the end of my post ("SGC.xlsx") at the bottom of my post, is it not visible from your end?
