Excel 2007 : Updating Account Numbers from Multiple Files

I update attributes for account numbers that come from 4-5 different users. Updating the master list would be easy with VLOOKUP except that each user update would overwrite cells updated from the other users. So far I have been doing this by sorting the empty cells then doing the VLOOKUP. I am thinking there must be a formulaic solution but cannot think of one. Any suggestions?

Hi trcon,

Not sure if you are overwriting the master list each time you get input from the users, I would suggest you to use different columns for each user and then update the most recent ones. Alternatively, you can upload a sample file for the better understanding of the forum to help you understand better. Thanks.
