    CSV File Corrupted in Email

A colleague of mine (Colleague A) sent a CSV file to another colleague (Colleague B) via email, from a Yahoo account to a company account on Outlook. When Colleague B opened it, it turned out corrupted -- several of the numbers had extra decimal places (e.g. 0.049 became 0..049). Also, some numbers had decimals moved or removed (e.g. 0.113 became 113). I had Colleague A forward me the same email (to my gmail account) from her sent folder, and I had no issues with it. I had Colleague B forward his email to me, and the file was corrupted. Colleague A has since sent the file to Colleague B a few more times, changing the file name each time, and only once it arrived intact. When I send it to him from my account, he has no issue with it.

    Is this a known issue?

csv files dont have to be opened in excel. so what happens when open it in notepad. its unlikely to have anything to do with excel.
