    Karaoke book help

    I'm using ExcelXP and trying to create a karoake book. I have all of the data entered, but I can't figure out how to print it the way I want.

    Here are the details:

    6215 lines in columns A and B.

    What I want is for every page of the book to have two columns of A and B (Alphabetized by column A).

    Like so:

    page 1:............. page 2:
    _____________ _____________
    | A B || A B | | A B || A B |
    | a - || h - | | o - || v - |
    | b - || i - | | p - || w - |
    | c - || j - | | q - || x - |
    | d - || k - | | r - || y - |
    | e - || l - | | s - || z - |
    | f - || m - | | t - || 1 - |
    | g - || n - | | u - || 2 - |
    |______1_____| |______2_____| etc.

    I've tried setting it to print multiple pages per sheet, but it wants to change the page to landscape so I get:

    Page 1:
    _________________________
    | A B || A B A B || A B |
    | a - || f - k - || p - |
    | b - || g - l - || q - |
    | c - || h - m - || r - |
    | d - || i - n - || s - |
    | e - || j - o - || t - |
    |_____1__________2______|

    I don't want it landscape and I don't want it to print both page numbers at the bottom of each page. Page 1 should just say "1" at the bottom.

    After it reorients to landscape I can change it back to portrait, but then it just wants to print the landscape image through the middle of the page (ignore the dots):
    _________________________
    |.......................|
    |.......................|
    |.......................|
    |.......................|
    |.......................|
    |.......................|
    | A B || A B A B || A B |
    | a - || f - k - || p - |
    | b - || g - l - || q - |
    | c - || h - m - || r - |
    | d - || i - n - || s - |
    | e - || j - o - || t - |
    |.....1..........2......|
    |.......................|
    |.......................|
    |.......................|
    |.......................|
    |.......................|
    |_______________________|

    Hopefully that makes sense.

    I've spend hours searching for someone else trying to do the same thing, but apparently I'm the only one. I can spend a bunch of money and get a karaoke book creating program, but it seems like Excel should be sufficient. Am I crazy?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hello,

    Excel does not offer such paging options. The easiest would be to copy your list into Word and use a multi column layout.

    cheers,

    Hi Chesire_Cat and welcome to the forum,

    I can also imagine you doing a Mail Merge from Excel into Word and possibly getting what you are looking for.

    Watch the video at http://www.ehow.com/video_4990733_mail-merge-excel.html to see if it makes sense for your problem.
