    Unhappy changing the file properties

    Hi all,

is there a way to change the properties of an excel file (I use Office 2010) like date when it was created, last saved, modified and the persons name who has modifies it last ? It can even be a 3rd party software that does it...

Yes, however I can't think of a valid reason why you would want to do so. Making a file appear to have been created/saved/edited by someone else and at a different date/time is suspicious.

Please use Google to find what you need, there are a number of examples on how to accomplish this.

well, never mind the reason, isn't this supposed to be a technical forum on how to do things, and not why someone does them ? Perhaps I have to do it for a good cause...

Regarding google search, I really looked for the answer elsewhere but all I found was a some third party sort that was not free, so I would really appreciate if you could give me some tips on how to do it. (specifically "last saved by" properties of a file)
