    conditional formatting

    sir my querry is>> via conditional formatting how can i mark row "red color" for the names who fall between 2000-3000 sgts,"yellow color" for names falling between 3000-4000 blue color if some one falls between 4000-5000 and green for persons falling between 5000-6000 sg countsmay be in future more names will be added and they should choose automatically their color as per their sg t counts.how is it possible can some body help me out>>please note that all are in seperate columns>>

    1. Select the range of cells for which you want to apply the conditional format
    2. Ribbon menu > Home Tab > click Conditional Formatting button then choose "Highlight cell rules" and choose the "Between option and enter your parameters.
    3. Choose the color setting - you can customize the format as desired.

    Repeated as needed for all parameters and colors choices.

    Lots of examples via YouTube.

    sir actually its not hilighting the entire row and secondly its not giving all the proper color options

    I don't see it. Upload example workbook and manualy color cells you want to be conditionaly formated.

    Immediately below your first thread is the "Edit Post" button. Click this button, then click Go Advanced and scroll down to Manage Attachments - upload from there.

    You may also make a new reply in this thread and Go Advanced to manage Attachments.

    I only have 2003 available at present so this example is limited to your first three conditions.
    You should be able to add the remaining conditions in 2007 using the given formulae as examples.
