    Identifying new data

    Hello there,
I would appreciate someones help with an excel 2007 issue.
I have a schedule populated with staff resource data, ie hrs worked etc by week. On a weekly basis, a new schedule downloaded from a system needs to be imported (basically brought into the orginal schedule). The problem is I need to see (be able to identify) the new data. Its not as simple as just a copy paste onto the existing schedule as this will not show the new data. If it was a simple as adding seeing new columns (resource weeks) on the new schedule, then that would also be more straight forward too, however sometimes the origianl data (previous weeks) are changed. I have tried to use conditional formatting and track changes etc, but I'm at a loss.
    Any help v much appreciated.

    Re: Identifying new data

    Hi flight,

    Welcome to the forum.

Formula like match and other lookup fucntion can help in this if applied with conditional formatting, but would appreciate if you can upload the sample file for forum members go give a quick try. Thanks.
