Excel 2007 : File will not print.. cannot clear print area, adds many Page Breaks

I have a budget file that has recently become unprintable. I cannot clear the print area. I have tried many things when it does print, it is very very small and cannot be read with the ***** eye.
1) tried: clearing print area; then only prints very tiny
2) when I do clear it and then change the page break view, it adds a PB after each line
3) in the print dialog box, adjusting the % to print. Only changes page one, all other pages (looks like 27 b/c of all the Page breaks)
4) tried saving as a new document
5) tried to copy and paste into new document and I lose formatting.

Anyone have something like this happen? Thanks.

What scaling has been applied to the print? Can you change it to 100%?
