in format/cells lock all cells, unlock columns b and g ,protect sheet allow only to select unlocked cells .

Thank you for the quick response. I am aware of this part, but let me tell you the real usage behind. I have created an excel file in which through the VBA coding I have completely deactivated the copy and paste in the entire workbook, even right click has also been deactivated.
Now I am looking for an excel vba solution which will help me to allow the user to copy and paste only the columns B to G other columns should not be permitted.

Adding to the previous post, I have also protected the sheet by giving access to work in all the columns by unlocking and protecting the sheet. Only certain columns are blocked from use.
