Counting number of weekdays to a future date

I have a calendar occupying a range A2:AB33. I want to be able to count the number of days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) between the current day and a specific day in the future (in this case 30th May 2014). I haven't yet found a way of doing this with a worksheet formula. Can you help?
