    Cool Calculation ISSUE

This is proberly a realy easy thing to fix but not being major excel fourmulas i have no idea how to do it.

I have a milage tracker as i can claim 40p per mile for the first 10,000 and then 25p there after. So i have the details and then a trip mile colum, YTD colum and remaining colum.

I have got it so the remaining colum is 10,000 mins YTD colum, leaving me my remaining mileage allowance, and it does work fine but it contunes to minus out the YTD colum all the way down so after half way down the page it goes to minus miles remaing.

I am trying to get it so it only calulates used miles and will give me a remaining miles figure the same all the way down.

    I hope that makes sense

    cheers

=max works but i wanted to be able to use the 10000 as in the text. so if the government change the allowance i can just change that cell and not all the worksheet.

    cheers

It explains what we expect, but the alternative is feel free not to read our rules & post elsewhere

Looking at your previous posts I don't think you have read the rules at all
