    Count Cells between format changes

I have a sheet that contains conditional formatting to show when the data in Column F changes. The sheet sorts wrestlers by weight class and marks where each weight class changes. I would like to get a count of the wrestlers in each weight class. =IF(F2=F1, (100), (0)). The 100 and 0 are used to differentiate the formatting. I would really like the 0 to be the count of wrestlers in each class. New to forum please help me get question to right place.

    Thanks,

Re: Count Cells between format changes

I may have approached this wrong from the start. After all the teams have weighed in I input names and records into a sheet by team and then paste it over to the sort sheet. The ideal final product would be a sheet that sorts the wrestlers by weight and then by winning percentage. Rank is input manually at the seeding meeting. Then I need to sort by weight and then by rank. If it could show the number of wrestlers in each weight class next to the first name in the weight class and insert a blank row after each weight class that would be fantastic. The number of wrestlers in each weight class changes each year. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
