    Exclamation cannot edit comments in microsoft excel 2007

    Hi!

    I have this excel file which I made using Microsoft Excel 1997 but when I opened it in Microsoft Excel 2007, I cannot edit the comments I made in the older version anymore. What do I do so I can edit my comments? Pls help me. Thanks.

    Try saving it as a xlsx format file

    Just as an option, see if that file was shared before opening in excel 2007 . . Shared file causes this type of errors due to some corruption issues.

    I already saved it in xlsx format but still cannot edit comments
