Is it possible to have 2 separate excel windows open?

    Hi all,

When I open 2 Excel documents, I notice they open within the same application area. I know I can maximize the program area and then have the 2 files side by side. But I don't like this as it causes some other space issues; I would prefer that they open in 2 completely separate windows for maximum flexibility.

Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks!

yes, open excel again then open document, but you will lose the paste special options that you have within the same instance.
