    Excel to html

I've been at this for months - XL2003/XL2010: I need to convert a sheet to html. Using 'on line' converters does not seem to handle cells with text overflow - they word-wrap as do all 'trial runs' of commercial conversion software. If I M$ 'save as html or mht' I get weird cell borders popping up in places. I have tried all manner of cell protection. Attached is the .xls file and the 'rogue borders' appear between cols Y and Z outside the table area.

    Any help appreciated!

Martin - many thanks for a very quick response. A couple of problems:

I may be doing something wrong, but saving as .mht does not produce the bookings table below the text

If I save as .htm with your formatting I still get the 'extraneous' border line on the right.

    Re: Excel to html

Hmm! It looks like a browser issue here. It opens fine (with all the items) in IE, but not in FF. It shows on my machine as an Opera file - is that right? My problem is that on a community site I need a webpage that is cross-browser compatible.

I should have checked in IE before I raised the issue, I fear - mea culpa - it seems to be a FF thing that displays the 'odd' cell border. All my saved htmls display fine in IE. Must be a Bill Gates built in 'gotcha' :-))). I will search the FF forum for answers. Thanks again, over and out.
