    Carry Forward of Formulas from locked cell after inserting new rows

    Hi,
    I am making a sheet which i want to put restriction for other users. But the problem is that when i lock the worksheet and insert a new row but, the formula from one of the cell is not carry forwarded to the new cell.
    Please some one help me for this,

    Do you insert the row after the locking or before?

    Can you be a bit more explicit. e.g. what formula, what do you mean by new cell, what do you mean by carried forward?
