Greetings,

I'm running Excel 2007 on a Windows 7 Lenovo ThinkPad. I use a multi tray network laser printer.

I'm experiencing problems when trying to print worksheets from several of my Excel workbooks. For example, one particular workbook has approximately a dozen worksheets. Roughly half of them print without any issue; I cannot get the other worksheets to print normally. The worksheets that are not printing properly are printing as a compressed image in the upper left hand corner; the image size is a large thumbnail rather than being full page. As a rule, I am printing only the active sheet or selected pages within that active sheet. I am not experiencing any printing problems from my other applications (Word, Lotus, etc.). Here's what I can report based on troubleshooting that I have attempted:

1. In Print Preview mode, all worksheets look normal.

2. When the printer is configured for automatic tray selection, the worksheets that print properly use tray one whereas the worksheets that do not print properly are being sent to tray two. I changed the printer configuration (on the PC side) to explicitly select tray one. That did not help except that now all of the worksheets are printing from tray one.

3. The scale for all of the worksheets in this particular workbook is set to 82%. I've tried changing the scale to 100% but that did not change the print results.

4. I have checked other Page Setup variables including print area, page size and orientation, margins, etc.. They all appear to be set to the appropriate values and more importantly are consistent across all of the worksheets in this workbook. When I click the Options button on the Page Setup dialog box, Excel crashes.

5. When I click the Properties button on the Print dialog box, Excel crashes.

I've run out of ideas and any help would be appreciated.
