    Excel 2003 - No COUNTIFS

    Hi people

Is there another formula to use if I wish to have COUNTIFS function but Excel 2003 doesn't allow me to do that?

    Thank you.

You can use SUMPRODUCT but note that you cannot use entire columns for the range arguments:
    =SUMPRODUCT((range1=Criterion1)*(range2=Criterion2))
    expanded as required.
    Good luck.

Read this article on SUMPRODUCT for more details on the syntax and use of this wonderful function.
