We are a construction company who publicly bids work, and I am trying to start a spreadsheet where I can take data from unit bid tabs, dump them into seperate sheets based on their geographic location, and have a central sheet to run average price history for a specific item in a specific location.
For example, if you have an item of 12" pipe, located in Houston Texas, that has been bid on 4 different jobs, located on one sheet; and then another sheet with the same 12" pipe item but located in Dallas, I want to be able to have a centralized sheet where i can type in a function/formula to obtain what the average price for that piece of 12" pipe was in Houston, and have it not pull data from anything else.
Is this possible, and what would the formula be?
