Adding separate data point to a line graph

    Hi there
I want to add a separate data point to a line graph, without it being connected to the line, as follows.

    I have data, for example:

    Year 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 Average
    Number 40 60 50 65 45 52

Is it possible to show the data for years 2000-2004 as a line graph, then the figure for the average as a separate data point to the right of the line?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you

    datafiend

You can always add average as a series (under the number series in range C6:I6) with the average value in I6.

Hi datafiend - greetings from another Perth resident. I hope you're surviving the hot weather.
An alternative would be to add the average as the last point in your series, select the last point of the series and set line color to "no line" for that point only
