    deleting blank cells

    hi,

i have a spreadsheet that has about 1000 rows, but only about 35 cells in each row are populated. The problem is that there are varying numbers of blank cells in front of this string of 35 populated cells in each row. is there any way to simply clear all the blank cells in the sheet to "align" the 35 populated cells in each row?

any help is much appreciated. thank you

Try selecting the entire range including the preceding blanks.

Hold the CTRL key down and press G.

    Click Special and choose Blanks.

Then right click one of the blank cells and select Delete.

Choose to move cells to the Left.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
