I am wanting to take this 7020T and create a formula to make it this 7020_T Here is the formula I was using but what place holders do I need to put in the formula to make it concatenate after the fourth number =IF(AB2="","",CONCATENATE("_",AB2))
If it is always after the 4th number (i.e. the format is always 4 numbers followed by a letter), then you could do this:
=IF(AB2="","",LEFT(AB2,4)&"_"&RIGHT(AB2))
If your format can vary then you need to give further examples of your range of starting values.
