    Problem with Pivot Table

I am having a problem with a piviot table. I have a simple inventory table that show a Qty, Price and then Extended Price in columns. At the bottom of the list it shows a grand total.... it totals the Qty column, the Price column but then it multiplies the Sum of Qty by the Sum of Price for the grand total of Extended column just as it does for each row.... which is obviously wrong. I of course just need the Extended Column summed.

I know this should be simple but I just can't figure out how to change the grand total for Extended column. I am using Windows 7 and Excel 2007. I have attached the sheet and the pivot table is on Sheet 1

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Re: Problem with Pivot Table

    Hi,
You cannot do that with a calculated field. You would need to perform the calculation in the source data. Calculated fields always aggregate the field data and then perform the requested operation on those aggregates.
    Good luck.
