Question How to make japanese candle in a chart

    Hi

I have been trying to make a chart of some price information using the stock charts > japanese candlestick.

It tells me - To create this stock chart, arrange the data on your sheet in the following order: opening price, high price, low price and closing price. Use dates or stock names as labels.

I think I have done everything it has asked, but clearly something is missing for it not to work.

Can someone be so kind as to show me an example of how it is done please?

    I would be very grateful.

    Thanks

    Phil

Re: How to make japanese candle in a chart

    Hello,

    arrange your data like this:

opening price high price low price closing price
    2/02/2012 5 6 3 4
    3/02/2012 6 7 4 5
    4/02/2012 7 8 4 5
    5/02/2012 5 6 4 5

Select a cell in the table in insert a candle stick chart.

Note: you need at least four rows of data, otherwise the message will come up.

    cheers,
