Poor Conditional Print Area

Hi all,

So I'm trying to troubleshoot a document I created not too long ago. It has some cells and calculations that are set to appear conditionally based on option button selections. The formatting works by simply changing the color of the borders and text to match the background color. This works well on-screen. However, when I go to print (in black and white) ALL of the conditionally hidden items show up regardless of whether or not the correct options are selected. Even printing in color has the font and background colors appear differently, although I'm assuming that's a printer issue.

I haven't been able to find a solution to this yet, despite quite a bit of searching. I've attached an example of the issue I'm running into. I would like to retain the sheet functionality, but be able to print in black and white without printing the areas that should be hidden.
