    How to count seconds?

Hello I have this create date: 12/22/2011 9:31 and fixed date: 12/23/2011 12:34

I want to know how many seconds does it takes to from create date to fixed date.

    I tried: 12/23/2011 12:34 - (minus) 12/22/2011 9:31
    Result is 3:02:38, hr:mm:ss

Is this correct? 3 hours and 2 minutes and 38 seconds? I just converted the hour/minutes to seconds and add all time. I end up to 10958 seconds.

    Thanks in advance!

Assuming the dates in A1 and B1, then use
=A1-B1 and use a custom number format (in the format cell dialog) of [ss]
You should get around 97380 depending on what the seconds values of your times are, since you have over a day difference.
    Good luck.
