    Possible to change these hotkeys?

Hello, I am wondering if two little things are possible in Excel 2010.

First, if I am pasting things around a worksheet for example and I hit ctrl and don't hit another key to execute a shortcut, then this stupid little menu pops up and interrupts me. If I am really speeding through data doing various things, this is pretty annoying. I would like for pressing ctrl to do absolutely nothing at all times unless it is in conjunction with another key press. Is there an option to change this "hotkey"?

Second, is there a way to make F1 do nothing? As you know, F1 brings up the help menu. Again, if I am coursing through a spreadsheet using F2 to edit and I fat-finger the F1 key, it's quite a nuisance. Again, looking to edit a hotkey basically.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide!
