Graph disappears when I hide columns with data

I have excel 2010. I have a columns A-D that has data for a graph. I need to hide columns B-D, but when I do the graph info disapprears (the outline is there, but no graph).

How do you hide columns and keep the graph info?

Select chart
Use the Select Data dialog, Hidden and Empty cells.
Show data in hidden row/columns
