    Conditional Formatting.

    Hello Everyone.

    I'am hoping someone can help me with a conditional formatting problem.

    I need to set conditional formatting in one column. Column F in this case.

    The conditional formatting colour codes specific periods between set dates that people leave courses.

    I have little knowledge of Excel and do not know what formula I need to enter in teh conditional format boxes to achieve this.

    I have attached a stripped down copy of the file used which explains more and is more self explanatory.

    Thanks if anyone is able to help

    Re: Conditional Formatting.

    Select F12:F23 and go to Format|Conditional Formatting

    Formula Is:

    =AND(F12<>"",F12<C12)

    click Format and choose Red from Pattern tab, click Ok, click Add

    Formula is:

    =AND(F12>=C12,F12<=D12)

    click Format and choose Gray from Pattern tab, click Ok, click Add

    Formula is:

    =AND(F12>=D12,F12<=E12)

    click Format and choose Yellow from Pattern tab, click Ok, click Ok to apply
    Where there is a will there are many ways.
