Excel 2007 : Find number from sheet1 on sheet 2 then write row info on sheet3

Morning,

The dilemma is this. I have a set of numbers in Column A sheet1. I need to find each instance of that number in sheet2 Column B then write the information contained from that row onto sheet3.

A number from sheet1 may have several rows of information on sheet2.

At first glance it may seem that the numbers in sheet1 Col A are listed sequentially, incremented by 1.
Not so, further along there are numbers omitted.

I provided a sample workbook. In the original, sheet1 has 15K rows and sheet2 has 38.5K.


If it were just a few rows I would copy and paste, but this needs the help of a VBA guru.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi George,

This is where the Advanced Filter feature of Excel can help us.
Using the advanced filter, I have selected the data in sheet 2, given criteria in Sheet 1 and got the correct results out, see the attachment. Thanks.
