Excel not pasting formulas properly

Hi
This morning I copied formula from one cell to another, but it showed the values of the cell it came from, but the correct formula (which should have returned 0 as the referenced cells were empty). This is something that I do & use on a daily basis.
HELP!! I really don't want to have to type the whole formula in each time I try to use it. The formula is:
=T30+U30+V30+X30+W30-G30+AD30+AG30-P30

Not exactly complicated, as formulas go. Any help greatly appreciated!

Windows 7 64-bit pro, with all updates (it did Windows update yesterday including one for "Office 2010") Am wondering if that is the problem.
Will try system restore

Tried that (believe me, I have tried most things!). Just tried to do system restore, only to get message that there are no restore points on the system, but I know two were created yesterday by system update, so it looks like I have several problems to try to solve!

OK

click File
choose option
advance
find the one that has ---- cut, copy paste
click the check box that has the
****** cut, copy and sort inserted with their parent cell. click ok.

try the paste formulas again

ok fixed.

did you try this one..
Reset to factory default..

Close Excel and
Windows Start Button|Run
excel /unregserver
then
Windows Start Button|Run
excel /regserver

Just tried to use Excel with numbers (have been using with mostly text). NONE of my formulas work now! I have a "banking" spreadsheet in which it sums the columns & then minus column D - should be 0 if I have entered figures correctly. Doesn't matter what I put in columns E to P, O remains 0
Am contemplating removing Excel & re-installing. Seems a bit drastic, but there you go!

Have solved problem (sadly after uninstalling/reinstalling....) Update changed formulas to manual not auto update!
