create combined list, summing scores for individuals

Have looked for answer to this, cant find it anywhere.
I have two tables, in Q3-R7 and Q23-R27. Column headings are Player and score.
Some players appear in both lists, some dont.
I want to create a combined table that adds together individual score where a player appears twice, or simply uses the score from 1 list if the player only appears in 1 list.
The table will need to update dynamically

An help appreciated! I can attach a view of the spredsheat if that will help!
