Formula or Macro to Automatically Move Data from one worksheet to another

    ************EXCEL NEWBIE***************

BLUF: Need a formula or macro to automatically move data from the worksheets: CRFI, PA, and Engagements to the master entitled DB when members of my staff enter data within the aforementioned worksheets. I have included a sample workbook for clarification.

CAVEAT or CONTROL: Controlled by pull down information contained in columns C and D in each worksheet. Example-- If a legislative member of my staff is inputting data to CRFI and choses LA and R from columns C and D respectively --> macro or formula kicks in and copies the data to DB! in the exact same form to an open row. Same thing for PA! and Engagements! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't do any "editing" in the DB sheet, and the "worksheet_change" macro in that sheet module leads me to believe you do.

My process would be to do all the editing in the CRFI, PA, and Engagements sheets, then use a Worksheet_Activate macro on the DB to "collect" all the data from the other three sheets anytime it is activated. So it's always accurate and up to date when you view it.

Way over my head sir, I'm lucky to write a =sum formula and get it to work. I will do a google search for the "Worksheet_Activate" VBA code and attempt to implement. Thank you.

I can do that for you... here you go, go to the other sheets and make change, then bring up the DB sheet and it will instantly "reassert".

Thank you very much for the coding. I'm afraid it doesn't seem to run for me when I bring the macros into my environment. I have attempted to populate data within all worksheets to see if the data will transfer over to DB!...no joy. Not sure what's going on...ideas? Thank you.

Any ideas on a workbook I can't see.... no. Post the new workbook with your macros inserted and the data "sanitized" to generic values... make sure nothing else is touched, and I'll take a look at what you tried to do.
