    Change Date Format

    Hello,
Could anyone help me to change the format of the date below? I tried date format but it didn't work. I believe I need a formula for this.

    From: 2000.11.05

    To: 11/5/2000

Thanking you in advance for any and all help.

    Re: Change Date Format

Try using Text To Columns and at the 3rd step specify the date format.

    Try this:
    =--SUBSTITUTE(A1,".","/")
    Hope it works

    Re: Change Date Format

I would like the date printed in the header to read day month year. Is there a way to force that to happen?

    Thanks a bunch.
