Excel 2007 opens Google Earth with certain commands

Since few days I noticed an awkward behaviour of Excel 2007. I work with a standard spreadsheet which I previously saved and want to do the automatic sum of a serie of cells. When I depress the button "Automatic sum" (or whatever it is in the english version ...) the systems opens up automatically the program "Google earth".
After few clicks the correct command takes place.
can Anyone give me a hint what the possible cause of this problem is?
It seems I do not have problem with new spreadshetts and this applies to memorized worksheets when I want to edit them.
Thanks for the assistance.

Perhaps the sum button in that workbook has been replaced with a custom button is using the icon for the "sum button".

Is the sum button in the normal place on the ribbon under "home"? Check under "Office" button, excel options, customize, customize quick access tool bar, and see if that applies to just that workbook, or all workbooks. Look to see if the auto sum icon is in that list, if it is, remove that button and see if the problem is still there
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Thanks for the advice: I checked in the Excel Options of that worksheet as you said and discovered that in the "Additional components " (or whatever it is in the english version), I had unwittingly added a TimeGE Class which was linked to the Googleearth.exe command. I deactivated the relevant box and now when I depress the button "Automatic sum" the Google earth program does not pop up anymore.
Thanks again
