    "This style name already exists"

    Hi

Hopefully this will be an easy solve for someone... I'm trying to add a cell style called "Input", but after I click OK to set up the style I receive an error that says "This style name already exists".

Expanding the cell styles section on the Home tab doesn't show that style, so somewhere there must be a way for me to view all of the styles that are set up within the document. Does anyone know how I can do this? I'm using Excel 2007.

    Cheers
    Dee

    Hi protonLeah

Having a look at your code it looks like it's just printing "my style found" when/if it comes across the style name when going through all of the styles in the workbook. I'm assuming the style would have to exist by virtue that I'm receiving the "This style name already exists" message.

What I'm after is a way I can find the style so I can basically right-click and modify it. I'm hoping there's a simpler way than having to create a macro for it.

    Hello,

can't check 2007 right now, but in Excel 2010 the style "Input" is in the styles panel, loud and clear, in the "Data and Model" section, sporting a blue font and a tan fill.

    cheers,
